The NOW8 Hybrid disc brake set combines a mechanical pulling system with a hydraulic brake piston and revolutionizes the brake performance for cyclocross and road bikes.
The set offers a unique solution for cyclocross /CX) drivers to adapt their mechanical cablepulled brakes by switching to a frame with disc brake mount, without changing the usual service or even replacing the whole system.
The brake pistons are actuated by the3 existing mechanic shift/brake-lever and work in a closed hydraulic mineral-oil system. This allows the cyclocross or road bike driver to combine the NOW8 hybrid brake with any existing brake system and to enjoy the advantages of hydraulic brakes.
